Canon Rebel T3/1100D Unboxing/Impressions

I decided that at 23 years old I should at least have a camera by now. I had an Olympus point-and-shoot back when I was twelve and knew absolutely nothing about taking pictures outside of hitting the shutter release. It’s long since out of commission.

Don’t misread me–the iPhone 4S is excellent. It’s great at taking photos and the capability to shoot at full 1080p is something to write home about. That said, it’s still my phone. While it’s great for on-the-go shots, it was high time that I had something a little more purposed. I decided, then, to invest in my first DSLR camera. Enter the Canon Rebel T3/1100D.

iPhone 4S – Acquisition

There’s a pre-introduction here that could take place, I guess. I could bring up the October 4th “Let’s Talk iPhone” event and how the iPhone 5 didn’t materialize out of the rumor mill, but that horse has been beaten to death. The hype monster got the better of the masses and the anti-Apple folks aren’t at a shortage of material for jokes.

So here it is–the iPhone 4S.
